#covid19#Lockdowncookingtrials#pineapple shake

Everyday new cooking target today results in a new tropical fruit  beverage. We both like to have raw fruits rather than conversion. Because of lockdown and cookery  blog workouts I need new cooking recipes. Today cooked Pineapple Kheer. The outer eye sides of the pineapple were cut off. Can easily eat that as it is. But for a new recipe, got idea for a traditional homemade shake. We don’t like to have more sugar. Jaggery (gur) substituted sugar. Delicious, nutritious and healthy tropical beverage for summer.
Jaggery is rich in antioxidants and minerals. It prevents constipation, eases digestion, flushes out toxins and cleanses the liver. Builds muscles. Helps in anti aging.
Pineapple loaded with nutrients, eases digestion. Boosts immunity, helps in metabolising protein which in turn helps burn away the excess belly fat.
Ingredients
Pineapple chopped 2cups,
Semolina 1 tbsp., fried, soaked in a little hot water for 10 minutes,
White Jaggery cubes 2 or 3, grated,
Fried peanuts 2 tbsp.,
Dried ginger powder 1 tsp., cardamom powder 1/4 tsp. ( optional )
Salt a pinch.
Combine the all the ingredients along with a cup of chilled water in a mixie and blend smooth.
Pour equal quantities of the drink into four glasses. Put some chopped pineapple and sweet cherries on the top. Decorate the glass as you prefer. I put a pineapple slice, mini sweet lime and a candied sweet cherry on edge for a lovely appearance. Refrigerate for an hour. Serve chilled❤️
The team work of pineapple, jaggery and semolina milk turns out luscious.
